After Gowns special?
That's simple: our Ever After Gowns Boutique, held at an
area high school just before the Spring Prom.
When a young woman without financial concerns shops for her Prom
Dress, she is often given the undivided attention of shop helpers
who want to make sure she gets the absolute perfect dress. She is
doted upon, pampered, and made to feel special.
Young women who have to deal with financial hardships often don't
have the means to experience this rite of passage. Many times,
there simply isn't any money for a dress, so there is no Prom, and
certainly no shopping experience that makes the young women feel
special.
Ever After Gowns is here to help. Our Spring Boutique is
our way to allow young women to make memories that will last for...
Ever After.
Our clients are selected by their high school guidance counselors
based on need and merit. Each client receives an elegant invitation
to the event, which is held on school property. Holding the
Boutique at the school helps ease transportation and planning
difficulties. The Ever After Gowns staff spends months
preparing for the Boutique, and transforms the school into a
replica of an upscale retail store on Boutique day.
As the clients arrive at the Boutique, they are assigned a Personal
Shopper who will guide them through the rest of the process. Our
Personal Shoppers have been trained to assist the clients in
finding the Perfect Dress for their Prom. The Personal Shoppers
assist in selection of gowns, the gown fittings, and the selection
of appropriate accessories.
The Ever After Gowns Boutique is not a free-for-all. Our
goal is to make this event memorable for our clients. Each client
is a unique, incredibly special young woman, and our Boutique is a
way to recognize that. By providing a personalized, memorable
experience, we help build the self-esteem these young women need to
have a successful future.
